Labor Day in Chicago

My Aunt R and Cousin C are coming into town on Wednesday evening, and my mom is coming on Saturday morning. All the visitors are leaving on Monday. I have been asked to figure out what we should be doing.

Thursday:

• R and C are on their own
• I suggest a Wendella boat cruise
  

Friday:

• 10am, R , C, R's high school friend and I are going to see Tut at the Field Museum
• lunch at the Field?
• then what? The Field Museum isn't that exciting.
  

Saturday

• pick-up Mom at the airport ~9:15am
• IKEA w/ Mom? (if I've already driven to O'hare, Schaumburg isn't that much farther)
• Lunch at the Italian cafe across the street from the Bean
• Millenium Park
• Spinning Into Butter by Rebecca Gilman? I'll email around... it sounds like a good show
• maybe we'll try to get the $25 tickets to Wicked

Sunday

• Ann Sather for breakfast... but we'll have to go to a not-in-Andersonville one, as that one seems to be closed
  
• I'd like to take Mom to my church (All Saints Episcopal in Ravenswood)
• DaVinci at 1pm at the Museum of Science and Industry
• Sunday evening? collapse?

Monday

• Shedd Aquarium?
• Visit friends in Deerfield?
• wander Andersonville?
• Thai Pastry?
• Everyone goes home =(
• Life returns to normal =(
