Gapers Block, Chicago, IL - Airbags: An Open Letter to Things that Annoy Me

Gapers Block, Chicago, IL - Airbags: An Open Letter to Things that Annoy Me: "Dear Mayonnaise,
No confluence of circumstances will ever exist such that I will be able to wrap my mind around you as a substance. What the hell are people thinking? You are very gross."

I concur!

Gapers Block, Chicago, IL - Airbags: Goose Island

Gapers Block, Chicago, IL - Airbags: Goose Island: "Goose Island"

Go read about some of the history of the island where I work. Apparently, it is also a "Protected Manufacturing District." How quaint. Who knew that they protected industrial areas?

I signed up...

No dithering here. I loved having pen pals when I was a kid, and I like to do nice things for other people, so I signed up forSecret Pal 5. I heard about it at the knitting community on LiveJournal. As soon as I figure out if its ok to hotlink the buttons, I'll get one up on the sidebar. and if its not ok, I'll figure out how to host a picture somewhere. But now, I'm starving. Because I fail at food preparation.

He is soooo dreamy!

Steve Dawson taught my guitar class tonight, at the Old Town School of Folk Music. I might have a crush on him. But he is way better than Barbara Barrow, who is old and boring. We played fun songs in class today. Oh, and his voice.... so beautiful singing. And did I mention that he is very attractive? And a very good guitarist. If he teaches Guitar 1 Rep next term, I'm totally taking his class. I might even become a groupie.

The Sampler

The Sampler rocks. Well, I've heard that it does. I am going to find out for the next three months, since I'm one of the lucky duckies who got subscriptions ordered in the first NINE (9) minutes after 12 noon Pacific Time. Rock on to Anne Holub, my roommate, who tipped me off to today being the day. She is a pretty cool girl. If you lived here, you should hang out with her.

Ok, back to work. Because I've been procrastinating enough today.
